Onwards to Los Angeles with one last stop in Joshua Tree to see the sinewy, grotesquely shaped trees that gave the park its name. This park resembled a prehistoric grazing ground and really felt like you are looking back in time. I opted for a short hike to an old mine to avoid being Grand Canyoned again.
