The best way to make friends in Texas is to talk about how big all their stuff is. Texans seem to take great pride in having the biggest, baddest everything. In Austin not many things are bigger than football, and the University of Texas Longhorns, since the Cowboys represent all that is evil and wrong with the sport, are arguably the more beloved football team in the state.
While the stadium was closed during the off-season, I managed to get this shot by joining a prospective student tour group. It was pretty immense, so much so that I got pulled over by a police officer for running a stop sign while staring at this monstrosity. I got off with a warning. Texans are a friendly bunch.

Looking/sounding good! Did you see Lucia?
We tried twice but it didn’t work out. She passed on some great information though including directing me to the next post.
